Ferdinand Lewis

is the Co-Founder and Executive Director at Jireh Technologies.  Having been under the tutelage of several business and Information Technology professionals throughout his teenage years, Mr. Lewis sought it fitting to venture out and apply the knowledge he had acquired over the years. One day in his college dormitory, as a freshman at Fisk University, Mr. Lewis was inspired to start a social enterprise. In November of 2003, at the age of 18, Mr. Lewis organized and incorporated Jireh Technologies. Inspired from his ecclesiastical roots, he chose the name “Jireh,” which simply means ‘provider’ in Hebrew and coupled it with Technologies to holistically sum the nature of the organization. This is best reflected in the motto:  JIREH TECH – Your Technology Provider.

Mr. Lewis is a young visionary Executive with experience in technology development, strategic positioning, and strategic planning with startup organizations. With a purpose in mind to bring about digital democracy and social change, Mr. Lewis is responsible for all the bottom-line factors of the organization. Such include the company vision, long-term strategic planning, service management, and organizational development processes.

Mr. Lewis graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Economics from Fisk University. Mr. Lewis holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma (a methodology in data-driven project decision making) and ITIL v3 (a set of concepts and policies for managing information technology infrastructure, development and operations). He is also a member of IT Service Management Forum (ITSMF), the only internationally-recognized forum for IT service management professionals world-wide.
